IAIK-JCE 5.5 released!

IAIK-JCE 5.5 fixes a signature algorithm name incompatibility in JSSE algorithm constraint checking, implements SHA-3 based signature and HMAC algorithms, and adds throughout support for using the IAIK provider without the necessity of installing it within the JCA/JCE Security framework.

Document Security
Ink signatures on paper don't really fit to the electronic world. Here, the main interest lies in creating commonly accepted and legally valid electronic signatures. In order to gain the required common acceptance, approved signature standards are used.

We offer JAVA toolkits for creating and verifying such (advanced) electronic signatures compliant to the current standards (CMS, XMLDsig, XAdES, PAdES). Depending on the document type in question and the required signature format the below products provide an adequate framework. Choose IAIK [CP]AdES if you want to sign and/or verify PDF documents or CAdES signatures. To create signatures in XML format (signing either XML- or other documents) IAIK XSECT and/or IAIK XAdES will be the correct choice. IAIK CMS can process all kinds of data and also offers appropriate methods to build basic CAdES signatures.
 

CMS-S/MIME

IAIK-CMS with S/MIMEv3 is a library for the Java™ platform that implements the IETF approved CMS (Cryptographic Message Synatx, RFC 5652), S/MIME (Secure/Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions Version 3, RFC 5751) and ESS (Enhanced Security Services for S/MIME, RFC 2634, RFC 5035) protocols.

[CP]AdES

The IAIK [CP]AdES toolkit abstracts the creation and verification of signed PDF documents and CAdES signatures. The structure of the toolkit is highly similar to a typical signature engine in the JCA/JCE framework and allows you to easily create signatures compliant to the PAdES and CAdES specifications by using dedicated parameter classes.  IAIK XML Advanced Electronic Signatures (XAdES) add-on for XML Security Toolkit (XSECT) 

IAIK-XAdES is the optimal add-on to our XSECT XML signature library enhancing it about useful properties as signing time and signing place and signature processing facilities for long term electronic document archiving. The toolkit enables the creation of advanced electronic signatures that remain valid over a long period of time and are compliant with the EU directive on electronic signatures.
