IAIK-JCE 5.5 released!


IAIK-JCE 5.5 fixes a signature algorithm name incompatibility in JSSE algorithm constraint checking, implements SHA-3 based signature and HMAC algorithms, and adds throughout support for using the IAIK provider without the necessity of installing it within the JCA/JCE Security framework.

The IAIK SECP160R1 IP module implements an elliptic-curve coprocessor that offers digitally signing of data according to ECDSA SECP160R1. The module is well suited for resource-constrained devices such as contactless smart cards or RFID devices. It needs no interaction by a host processor to generate an elliptic-curve digital signature (ECDSA). The implementation is based on the recommended GFP160 Standards for Efficient Cryptography Group (SECG) elliptic curve SECP160r1.
