IAIK-JCE 5.5 released!

IAIK-JCE 5.5 fixes a signature algorithm name incompatibility in JSSE algorithm constraint checking, implements SHA-3 based signature and HMAC algorithms, and adds throughout support for using the IAIK provider without the necessity of installing it within the JCA/JCE Security framework.

One day before Christmas we have released new versions of our core crypto toolkit IAIK-JCE and our SSL/TLS library iSaSiLk!

IAIK-JCE now provides MessageDigest engines for the NIST approved SHA-3 hash functions!

We proudly present a new maintenance release of our new IAIK ECCelerate™ elliptic curve library! Version 3.01 fixes compatibility issues with JDK 8! It is based on the latest standards and replaces our old IAIK-ECC library. IAIK ECCelerate™ is based on Java 5/6 technology and has been thoroughly optimized for speed. Currently, it supports ECDSA, ECDH, ECIES and optionally ECMQV.

New version of iSaSiLk released!

iSaSiLk 5.101 now by default disables DH(E) and ECDH cipher suites and includes key size checks for peer certificates and server key exchange messages.

New releases of PAdES and PKCS#11 toolkits

The new versions of IAIK PAdES, IAIK PKCS#11 wrapper and IAIK PKCS#11 provider are finally available. Some mayor changes have been implemented, which transform IAIK PAdES to IAIK [CP]AdES and greatly reduces the worries about the IAIK PKCS#11 wrapper's native part.

iSaSiLk 5.0 with TLS 1.2 support released!

The new version 5.0 of our SSL/TLS library supports TLS 1.2 and implements the TLS_FALLBACK_SCSV
cipher suite value as countermeasure against protocol downgrade attacks on the Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol trying to enforce a fall back to SSL 3.0, which is vulnerable to a padding-oracle attack if CBC is used ("POODLE" -- Padding Oracle On Downgraded Legacy Encryption attack).
